How Does Our Service Work?
Getting Started. In order to use our voice authentication system, the first step is to participate in the voice enrollment process. Consider an example using a credit IVR system ...
STEP 1: Customer calls toll-free number for bank's IVR system and is asked to key-in their account number. User is not enrolled, so bank system plays invitation message for customer to enroll his/her voice.
STEP 2: Bank IVR system prompts customer to repeat several phrases. These can be simple words, numbers, or short sentences ... almost anything.

STEP 3: VBG's voice biometric engine extracts vocal information from the speech samples to create a unique voiceprint.
STEP 4: The system then encrypts the voiceprint and stores it in a secure database server for later comparisons.
The entire enrollment process takes only about a minute!
The Verification Process ...
Once enrollment is complete, the customer is ready to use the system. An example for subsequent calls:
STEP 1: Customer calls toll-free number for bank's IVR system and is asked to key-in their account number. Bank recognizes enrolled user and starts authentication process.
STEP 2: Bank IVR system prompts customer to speak. Again, this can be simple words, numbers, or even free speech.
Completing Verification ...
STEP 3: VBG's voice biometric engine creates a temporary voiceprint from the customer's speech sample. This is then compared to the stored voiceprint for the customer.
STEP 4: The verified customer is then allowed to proceed within the IVR or call center system!
The entire verification process takes only a few seconds!
